Volunteer with Micah Challenge

Volunteering is a great way to learn more about God's justice and gain first-hand campaigning experience. Keep an eye on this page for upcoming volunteer roles.

We are always looking for volunteers to help run the campaign. Whether it's speaking or running an action at your church, organising an event, manning a stall at a conference or helping out at the office, we want you to get involved! After all, Micah Challenge is a campaign not an organisation, so it wouldn't exist without supporters. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the 5th Birthday campaign for child and maternal health. The volunteer will act as the contact person for people organising parties around Australia and will provide support via email. They will also organise the distribution of materials and equipment to party planners. Click here for more information on the 5th Birthday campaign.

The volunteer position will run until May 2010. The position would suit someone who is very organised and willing to be available to respond to emails throughout the week as well as dedicate 4-5hours per week to larger tasks (you will be provided with an email address). We are currently looking for a Web Volunteer to help keep the website regularly updated. Programming skills will not be required, but some understanding of web communication would be beneficial, and sound computer skills essential. Click here to download a job description.
At certain times of the year we have large numbers of incoming mail that need to be processed and entered into a database. If you are in Sydney, have an eye for detail and have a spare few hours to help us in the office, please contact info@micahchallenge.org.au.
