"Sell your possessions and give the money to the poor; make yourselves purses which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near, nor moth destroys." Luke 12:33.
Micah Challenge Australia is run by a coalition of Christian groups, organisations and individuals.
The National Steering Committee is responsible for the governance of the campaign. The Campaign Strategy Group determines campaign strategies and is the key working group of the campaign. The strategy group is made up of representatives of the key coalition partners as well as people with specific expertise and experience.
The campaign also has a broad base of supporters, including state action groups, denominations, churches, schools and peak bodies who help mobilise Christians in Australia to speak up for and with the global poor.
The campaign employs a staff team, led by the National Coordinator, who ensure the campaign is continuing to meet its goals.
