Micah Challenge partners with the Make Poverty History campaign in support of the Millennium Development Goals. Micah Challenge is also a member of the Make Poverty History Coalition in Australia. Click here for more information on the partnership.
The 5 Asks
Micah Challenge and MakePovertyHistory are calling on all political parties to take the following steps needed to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. In brief they are:
1. Increase Australia's aid and ensure it is used effectively
2. Make trade fair
3. Drop the debts of poor countries
4. Help poor countries keep their governments accountable, and
5. Tackle climate change in developing countries.
