Micah Challenge Australia is calling on churches and Christians around the country to SAVE THE DATE - set aside Sunday 10 October 2010 (10.10.10) to pray, speak and act against poverty as part of a global Micah Challenge initiative.

On Sunday 10 October 2010 millions of Christians around the world will unite for a Big day of Prayer, Promise and Action to see half a billion people released from extreme poverty. 100 million Christians will pray for fresh vision to take action on poverty, and more than 10 million will take part in the BIG Promise.



Micah Challenge will provide churches with resources to guide their prayer, worship and action on that day. As a sign of promise, Micah Challenge is asking Christians to make a handprint that will become part of a global message to national leaders.
