In 2008 we began to campaign for child and maternal health. We want to make sure these issues stay on the minds of our leaders into 2010.

Please enter your details below to send an e-card to The Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, asking him to prioritise health in the aid budget. Click here for more information on child and maternal health. To order hard copy 5th Birthday cards, email info@micahchallenge.org.au.

The Micah Challenge campaign wants to make the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) a reality - to see poverty halved by 2015. The campaign is endorsed by many churches and aid groups working with communities overseas to tackle illness, provide health services and improve health education. We want more government aid money directed to the vital work of meeting MDGs on child and maternal health. For more information, visit www.micahchallenge.org.au

MDG 4:
Reduce child mortality. Cut infant and child deaths by 2/3 by 2015
MDG 5:
Improve maternal health. Reduce by 3/4 the proportion of women dying in childbirth
