National campaigns around the world are also contacting their leaders in the lead up to the event urging for similar breakthrough action plans.

We, as the Church, should pray: and we would love you to pray:
- For the health and safety of each person participating, particularly Foreign Affairs Minister, Kevin Rudd who will be attending as Australia's representative
- That the leaders will be able to construct workable plans of action towards meeting their MDG targets
- The support of the countries represented by the leaders in attendance
- That a spirit of compassion and global responsibility will be prevalent throughout the three days of the Summit
- The Heads of State and Government will follow through with the promises and commitments made

3. Send a video message to World Leaders:

Use your voice as a global citizen to tell world leaders in a short video, what you think needs to be done to make this world a better and safer place!
